1) Insert an empty Z24 into your Lamy fountain pen as for a cartridge of ink

2) Leaving the barrel off the pen, fully submerge the entire nib into a bottle of ink

3) Screw the red-plastic end of the Z24 converter to draw up ink

4) Wipe the nib area clean with a lint free cloth and replace the barrel
